Pull up a seat and step back in time. Our Champagne bar overlooks Central Station and evokes the golden age of travel, with a sash of style and lashings of charm.

For those feeling peckish, food is fine, flavoursome, and focuses on small plates and sharing boards. Afternoon tea has a special place on the menu and is – of course – best taken with a glass of Champagne. Breakfast is also served in Champagne Central, for residents and non-residents alike.

Awarded the Best Hotel Bar in Glasgow at the 2019 Best Bar None awards.

I used a voucher which cost £35 thank goodness as full price at £70 is terrible x I go for afternoon tea quite a lot. This one is the dearest and poorest I’ve had. 2 rolls and 4 wee sandwiches, only 2 fillings. The only good thing about the experience was the waiter who kept serving and asking us if we were alright, lovely guy

The food was lovely and so filling. The ambience was nice and the staff were lovely too.

We arrived a little early but was seated straight away. The server made sure none of us had allergies and was there anything specific we would like( plain cheese sandwiches). We didn’t leave until after four so was there for nearly three hours! The food was amazing and plenty of, we were all full and actually brought our cakes home. The place itself is lovely, loved how they kept the original window and the lights with the bird cages. I would definitely go back, we loved our wee afternoon tea and had a very enjoyable afternoon.

Visited the bar for drinks and virtually impossible to get a seat. I did ask the restaurant if I could sit in there as I was myself and tried some food as well. The food was ok but several items were not available unfortunately. I also visited for brunch the next day and again items were not available. So, really disappointed with that as you would expect at a weekend they would be fully stocked on everything. The waffles were ok, a bit dry as I didn’t think there was enough toppings. Really needed extra fruit or some pourable syrup with the white chocolate option. Great service though from all the staff. Not sure I would visit again but it was in the hotel I was staying at.

Lovely ambience in a classy hotel. My shaksuka was lovely. My partner’s breakfast was ok but felt could have been better.
