Pull up a seat and step back in time. Our Champagne bar overlooks Central Station and evokes the golden age of travel, with a sash of style and lashings of charm.

For those feeling peckish, food is fine, flavoursome, and focuses on small plates and sharing boards. Afternoon tea has a special place on the menu and is – of course – best taken with a glass of Champagne. Breakfast is also served in Champagne Central, for residents and non-residents alike.

The champagne high tea was a gift for my 60th birthday and it was everything I had hoped for. The hotel is beautiful, all the staff were fabulous but especially the woman that greeted and seated us. As well as the high tea I was gifted a separate plate of birthday treats and a glass of fizz. The team were really good about my husband's request for sandwiches that did not have mayo and made him a separate selection. The standard of food was very good and we boxed up what we didn't finish. It really was a very special birthday treat.

Poor drinks service waited 20 mins for first drink then gave up gor 2nd and left. Do not go in during any busy period as priority given to bar over table sitting area.

Staff very nice, made us feel very welcome, food was lovely. Only gripe, my wife suggests the ladies toilet needs an automatic air freshener as there was a malodorous odour when she visited

Very poor service. Scones were stale. Chicken roll sandwich was very hard. Staff not really interested in you. We ordered 2 glasses of champagne they brought rose even though we hadn’t been given a choice. They seemed more interested in taking photographs of the afternoon tea possibly to advertise their next experience. Would not be rushing back 🥲

Myself and my sister have did many afternoon tea experiences in and around Glasgow The Glasgow Central hotel was a beautiful venue with a very comfortable atmosphere and ambiance however the food was a bit of a let down. While what we received was tasty there wasn’t much of it Two small rolls and four very small sandwiches two small fruit and two small plain scones with jam and cream. Two each of very small Battenberg cakes two very small strawberry mouse and two very small chocolate tarts and two small hummus cups I know this sounds a lot as it’s varied but everything was very small. If this is the same as the advertised price of £70 I would have been really annoyed. As it was I had a Wowcher deal for £37. I would love be to go back another time but maybe not for afternoon tea.

Lovely environment, employees polite , friendly and professional. The experience overall amazing,we had the afternoon tea for my birthday, the food was so good , definitely will come back !
