Pull up a seat and step back in time. Our Champagne bar overlooks Central Station and evokes the golden age of travel, with a sash of style and lashings of charm.

For those feeling peckish, food is fine, flavoursome, and focuses on small plates and sharing boards. Afternoon tea has a special place on the menu and is – of course – best taken with a glass of Champagne. Breakfast is also served in Champagne Central, for residents and non-residents alike.

Awarded the Best Hotel Bar in Glasgow at the 2019 Best Bar None awards.

We literally got half a cornation sandwich each and cucumber and cream cheese, literally hardly anything. Not worth £70 at all, scones were hard on the top. Genuinely nothing luxurious about this. Butterfly and the pig give you an insane amount of food for £20pp. Very dissapointing

Service was ok, though was on the slow side. Couple next to us, was offered refund but nothing to us.

Lovely afternoon tea and food was excellent and plentiful, service a little slow and we had to ask twice for our cocktail and tea top-up

Afternoon tea was a bit sparse, what was on the plate was lovely there was just not very much of it. The girl that showed us to our seats wasn't rude but there was no warm welcome or conversation, maybe she was just run off her feet as there seemed to be a lack of staff.

Service was very poor. Never advised we could have unlimited drinks. Only knew because we heard the girl tell another table. Coffee was cold and had to ask for refill and waited over 10 minutes for it. Sandwiches were very bland.

the venue is lovely, we went on a wowcher deal saving over £60. I am glad as the sandwiches were going hard, the cakes had almost melted at room temperature and the sausage roll was not warm through. it was a nice experience and the staff were lovely. had I paid full price I would have complained.

Afternoon tea, was very disappointed with the sandwiches, I had expressed when booking no cheese, sandwiches were 2 small fingers each, one cream cheese and cucumber, and the other coronation chicken. Small roll had soft cheese, and cracker with lovely caramelised onion also had grated cheese on top. Was unhappy about the amount of cheese. I mentioned to the server and he brought 2 ham sandwiches which were fine, but overall disappointed with savoury choices, server was I sure what the fillings were, think they should have known. All the cakes were lovely, scones were nice. A lovely venue, and staff were all lovely, toilet were closed on that level and had to climb 2 sets of stairs and along a long corridor up get to the toilets. Definitely not worth £35pp in my opinion, will not be back,
