Real and hard to find Italian specialities such as pappardelle with imported porcini and wild mushrooms, veal ossobuco, filet mignon in a Brandy sauce, fresh fish and seafood, veal classics and homemade desserts. The plastic placemats are a very cheap look for a place that charges big $$$ for their entrees and they are pain when you put your elbows or hands on them. Had a chicken entree with mushrooms and zucchinis for $31 and it was terrible, a plate Brown gravy that tasted like Publix brown gravy mix. This is the best, I purchased a bottle of wine but didn’t want to order right away and ask for some bread and the sever said I will bring it out after you order! Really!!!!

Seven of us gathered for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night, which was not very busy. Andrea did a nice job answering questions on the menu and recommending several dishes when asked. The Pollo Mossimo (chicken with mushrooms and zuchini in a demi-glace), accompanied by a vegetable medley and roasted potatoes, was delicious. A side of spaghetti with garlic and olive oil was equally good. All the dinners were delivered piping hot. You can bring your own wine in for a $25 corkage fee. If you're looking for above average Italian dining on Clearwater Beach, head to Cesare's!

Both grouper entrees tasted very bland. We questioned whether they were undercooked.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. We have dined there many times over the past 15 or so years. We have NEVER been disappointed in the food or the service. We don’t live as close to the restaurant as we used to but still make the drive for the best Italian meal around.
