So much potential….close but no cigar. Catch STEAK was a better restaurant— keeping this one over that one was an error. The food is good, so you’ll have a good dining experience. But the price tag should mean: better tables, a coat check, stronger drinks, higher quality of service. It was fine. It wasn’t great.

Had a lovely first time at Catch. The service from everyone was so intentional and kind. The prime rib and sea bass were delicious! I will definitely return.

Catch is one of my favorite places to eat! This is my second time going to catch NY because I typically go to catch steak but this dinner did not disappoint at all. I look forward to eating here again and our waiter Steven was great. Super chill and kind (:

The hostess was snobby—we arrived six minutes early for our 5:30 PM reservation, and she directed us to the bar, saying she’d come get us when our table was ready. The bartender was rude as well (I shared that story under the bar photo). By 5:50 PM, no one had checked on us, so I walked back to the hostess stand to check in. She responded with an eye roll and a dismissive "Your table is ready." Our waiter was nice and accommodating, and the food was fantastic. However, the atmosphere was too loud, with blaring music. We spent over $500 on dinner, only to deal with rude staff. Definitely not dining there again.

Came for Valentine’s Day, our resy was for 9:15pm and we arrived at 8:30pm but we got seated in less than 5 minutes which was nice. The best thing we did was order multiple appetizers rather than 2 main entrees. It was nice to sample the menu and the food was AMAZING. (the drinks too!)

We gave this place another chance and went for valentines day. great experience overall, total opposite of our last time. Everyone deserves a second chance...

Dined on the fourth floor, which is quieter than the second floor, which has less ambience, but is quieter. Food and service were outstanding.

The food was great, service very good, the only I thing I think is unacceptable is that I made my reservation weeks prior from yesterday at 9:30pm. It was around 8:13pm when I received a message saying that my reservation was moved down to 9:00 and that I had only 15 minutes to arrive otherwise I would lose my table. This is no what you expect when the restaurant have such a I high price, at least they should treat their clients better given that they had plenty of time to tell me about the time change.
