Catch Kitchen + Bar offers an upscale casual dining experience. Located on the second floor of Bayview Pier at Fisherman wharf in Steveston village. Our recently renovated waterfront restaurant offers the best view of Steveston’s historic harbor, we are perfectly situated to catch all the brilliant sunsets and our roof top patio features a magical 270-degree panoramic view of the rivers inlet. With ample indoor seating and a large bar area providing great vantage points for enjoying views of the water, Catch Kitchen + Bar is the perfect spot for intimate dinners and celebrations. Our fun, fresh and upscale casual concept will appeal to any appetite. The décor is bright and modern, serving as the perfect backdrop for both views and fresh locally inspired dishes.     The fish and chips were almost inedible, fish was over cooked and the chips were cold and overcooked

    Went to the Catch with my wife, daughter and niece for dinner. Made reservations in advance. The restaurant was not super busy. The staff were polite, however the service was none existent. The waitress took our order, we ordered some wings and our mains. We only saw the waitress again when she brought the food, we had to ask for our water to be refilled. It took almost an hour from when we ordered our mains for them to arrive. The food was good, but the lack of service really disappointing. So if you go to the catch set your expectations low for service. At least the view and sunset was nice.

    Service very slow and unorganized. My fish and chips dinner was not good with very small portion of fish and served warm not hot

    Food and ambiance was great. A Lady Server who attended us seemed not having a good day and we are the poor recipient of her not so good service. Good thing another server, came by our table, this time a younger lady with dark complexion and looks like braided long hair , she was super friendly, nice to chat with and very helpful with our questions. Sadly she is not our designated Server. Good thing food was great. Maybe we should ask first who will be our server 😀

    Food and service were both good. Maybe not enough servers on weekends. So ordering food and wine were a bit slow. Not the server’s fault at all. In fact, she was already super efficient given the fact that it was so busy. Just need more staff.

    When we arrived we were kind of hoping to get a seat outside on the patio as it was a lovely evening but it was already full. We were seated in a booth near the front window so we still had a very nice view over the marina. It's a lovely setting for sure. Our server was friendly and helpful and gave us some suggestions for our dinner. My wife and I shared the spicy shrimp appetizer to start and we both ordered the miso glazed black cod for our mains. All the food was beautifully cooked and delicious. Overall, a very positive experience and we will return for sure.

    We scored a table on the patio which was great however it seems this restaurant relies on view instead of service and food quality. Calamari was heavily salted, pasta had so much garlic thats all i could taste and husbands steak was tough. Service was really slow.
