Le restaurant Cassarino situé dans le quartier historique de Federal Hill s'est imposé comme étant l'un des meilleurs restaurants italiens de Rhode Island depuis 1988. Nous mélangeons les saveurs du nord de l'Italie avec la cuisine du Nouveau Monde. We have three floors in the restaurant and we typically host private parties on the second or third floor. The second floor has a max of 60 people and the third floor has a max of 45 people.We accept large/private parties Sunday-Thursday ALL DAY, and Friday/Saturdays LUNCH ONLY. The food is always excellent. The menu is very large with a lot of variety. We ate at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. We met the owner, he was grateful for our business.

Took my college aged daughter for dinner before basketball game. Service was prompt, food was great & price was right!

Me and my girlfriend came here for our 5 year anniversary and it was definitely worth it. The food was so good best Italian food I’ve had in a long time the drinks were amazing. I would definitely recommend going here.

Lovely service great food valet parking all top notch. A very elevated version of classic ItaloAmerican cuisine. In a more like mom used to make rather than showy foodie way.

Went to Cassarino's for date with, my husband and me with another couple. We had a great table overlooking Atwell's Ave. The room temp was comfortable; the noise level was moderate, i.e., not quiet, but we were able to have a private conversation among our table. It was Restaurant Week during our visit, so each of us took advantage of the special offerings. Cassarino's offering allowed us a selection of 3 appetizers and desserts to choose from and any regular entree from the menu, so there were a lot of options. 3 out of the 4 of us thought our meals were very good; 1 of us thought the meal was "good". One of my friends is gluten free, so she asked the waiter to advise her on her options. At times the waiter was hesitant with my friend's request for gluten free options (e.g., she asked for the calamari to be sauteed vs. breaded & fried, that request was denied), ultimately the waiter was able to identify options for my friend. My primary criticism is related to the service. Several times we had to ask for things that I would normally expect a waiter to bring including new utensils (which the waiter had cleared), fresh ground pepper, and parmesan cheese (it is an Italian restaurant so I expected parm cheese to be pro forma). Overall Cassarino's is a good restaurant, but not the best you'll find in Federal Hill.
