Food was a big miss this time. Did not meet our expectations. Calamari appetizer had 4 small rock shrimp, and the squid was very, very thin. The main reason we go is my wife's love of the red pepper casereccia. After going through significant price increases, then removing one of the two main ingredients, the crab, we decided to go back for it to satisfy her craving. But after this time, she joked that her obsession with it has gone away. The sauce truly had no flavor. My wife briefly thought she had covid because she couldn't taste anything. However, once she cut up the whole garlic cloves, it helped a bit. Maybe missing salt or something? The scallops were great. My wife also said her dirty martini wasn't dirty. My Manhattan was very good. Ask the fruit flies that kept trying to get a taste. We rarely ever discuss concerns with staff, and this was no exception, so we can't comment that they didn't fix the issue. However, when you spend $200+ on a date night, it should never get to the point where you have to ask the restaurant to fix anything, especially when the dish was ordered with no substitutions or special requests.

OMG! Amazing restaurant! I thought the service could not be out done. Then, the food came and I thought I had never had better! From beginning to end, it was not just dinner out. It was the perfect culinary experience. One you don't want to miss. The server, Michael was a constant presence and even one of the chefs made an appearance and recommended the duck! He was not wrong! We will be back for sure.

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. The food was good or okay. The presentation was very…monochrome. My delicious filet came with 2 starches and no green veggies. It was alright, but for $215 (with tip), i expect better. I would rather have gone to Casbah’s sister restaurant across the street twice for the price.

All in all terrific experience. The food, service, and ambiance was terrific. I had a glass of wine and the orecchiette pasta dish.

At 8:15 on a Thursday the patio (under the tent) was packed and noisy. Food was OK. Mushroom bisque tasted burnt, but beet salad was good. Sea scallop appetizer was good and mostly hot - all except the scallops! Were they pre-cooked and added at the end? The mafaldine was pasta in a broth with corn, crunchy green beans, over cooked mushrooms and raw tomato wedges. Some dollops of pesto on top. Nothing exciting. Am used to much better food at Casbah.

This is a favorite spot but I don’t get here as often as I would like. Mushroom bisque and lobster saffron pappardelle were incredible as was the sausage cavatelli. Always a very welcoming place. Michael was very efficient

First time at Casbah! Great ambiance inside. 3 of us sat on the “outdoor” covered patio which was really cute. LOVED the sourdough bread, the red pepper dip appetizer. I got the pork chop entree- which I ended up liking the sides better than the meat! Seasoned cooked greens and prosciutto risotto 🤤. We didn’t order dessert but the salted caramels with our check were a really nice touch! Nice evening.
