First of all, we love this place and are repeat customers, but we had a bad experience yesterday with the girl at the front desk. Reason we are giving the service 2 stars and overall 3 stars. We reserved through OpenTable and wrote a detailed message in both English AND Spanish, requesting that we wanted a water-side table for 4 at 7 pm. I've have always requested this and they have granted, however, when we arrived the girl at the front desk told us they didn't have any water-view tables and that there probably would not be for at least 25 minutes. We asked if we could sit down and then change tables if a table opened up shortly, and she said "no". We saw an open table in the corner by the water-view, and they told us it was for 8, not 4 people. We reluctantly took a table outside but not by the water. Immediately I noticed they had ONE person sitting at a water-view table for FOUR people eating by himself. And within less than 10 minutes, a water-view table right in front of us opened up. I got so excited I ran to the front desk to ask her if we could move over to that table. We had not even gotten our drinks yet. She said NO. We begged and explained the other couple's first visit and how we had requested the water-view table, please, please, please, and she kept saying no, they already had another party requesting a table, etc.. We were extremely upset with this girl. She would NOT budge. Any other establishment would have given us the table. Even our waitress went to ask, and she was told "no". The food is delicious if you don't mind the decline in customer respect and service. I am so disappointed in Casablanca! I never expected this type of treatment. The waitress and water boy's service were very good, despite this girl's lack of experience in hospitality and customer service. I don't know if we will be back. This girl needs lots of training and should NEVER be in the front desk role. If she is the first customers see, they will surely not come back.

After having been there several times with good experiences, this time was disastrous. The server was not at all attentive nor professional. She was at best an order taker. We ordered two yellowtail snappers and one red snapper. She brought three yellowtails and then did not apologized, but rather went in to blame the cook. She did not return to the table and after 20 minutes without the replacement snapper, it was sad that upon getting up from my table to tell her that I didn’t want it anymore simply because the other diners had finished their fish- had to eat it or they would have gotten cold- she again blamed the kitchen and never once apologized on behalf of the restaurant. Totally unprofessional. My side orders got cold thinking that I would get my fish in a reasonable amount of time. It was among the worst of the service that I’ve seen in Miami, and that is serious Then to top it off, the valet parking was a whopping $25 and there was no sign that stated so at the time we parked

Table we sat down wobbly. No waitress for 5-7 min. One waiter for 15 tables, Food was ok flies everywhere. Two people bottle of wine 1 appetizer 2 plates 1 desert. 230.00.

Everybody from the Valet to the Busboy was professional courteous had a wonderful table next to the river. Food was excellent thank you very much.

The steamed calamari portion as an entrée was so little, the bar took more than 20’ to bring our cocktails. Other than that all was good

Lovely restaurant on the river. We ate outside. Food was excellent. Great place to meet friends for drinks and dinner. Service was rather slow and not always attentive.
