We had a great experience at Casa Romero. The outside seating was awesome. The entrance was a bit intimidating for someone not familiar with the restaurant, but it was worth wandering down the dark alley to the Speakeasy-like entrance. My wife's food was, unfortunately, no served hot. (We did not complain about it.) Still, both our dishes tasted great.

Thought it was very pricy for what we got. $15.00 for chips / salsa / guac and $20.00 for a margarita plus a kitchen appreciation fee felt like a pretty steep price increase since the last time we dined there. Fajitas were not sizzling - just a bowl of meat, peppers and onions for $32.00

This place remains a hidden gem. I had not been there in ages and it was just as I remembered it. Delicious food great service and a funky cool ambience.

The food, drinks, and service were excellent! The menu has a good variety, and the space has a welcoming atmosphere. The prices are a little high, but for the quality of food, it's worth it. Best steak fajitas I've had in a while!

Cozy, festive Mexican Restaurant. Ambience was wonderful: heavy, tiled tables, rich colors on walls, festive music, perfect lighting. Chicken fajita was delicious, as was the churros and caramel flan. Tasty margheritas and espresso.Gluten free options available Wonderful service. On street metered parking.

Casa Romero is the greatest Mexican restaurant in town. Fantastic food, outstanding service and lovely ambiance, Noise level poor. Rats in their alley are frightening. We left at 9pm...perfect feeding time..and saw three rats run from a huge pile of garbage across the alley. Not at all good for business.

shrimp were decent size and well-cooked but everything else was below average. no seasonings - how can salsa and guac be bland? Our server was friendly and nice and water refills on spot. bathroom was sad and old. in general running on past glories, not coming back.

Casa Romero never disappoints. We always have a great dinner alone or with friends. Food was terrific and service was excellent. The weather was good and we were able to sit outside, which was a delight.
