Food was delicious, sat outside as it was such a beautiful day… great restaurant and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice Sunday dinner. Impressed! Service slightly slow. Maybe due to staff shortages but wasn’t waiting for ages. Had to go to bar for more drinks as no one come over to ask if we would like any more. Which was no problem.

I've been a few times for Sunday dinner and enjoyed it but this time was not enjoyable. Roast potatoes seemed like they were cooked the day before and reheated, dry. Mushy peas were like a watery soup- seen another table return them. The battered cauliflour (usually my fave) was undercooked 🥲 We weren't offered any sauces. Had no mustard. It was really below par and has made me not want to return.

Food was lovely but spoiled by poor service. Took 20 from arriving to receive our first drinks. We were considering dessert and another round of drinks but waiting time between being asked if we wanted dessert to someone coming for our order was so long we decided not to bother. Restaurant was quiet maybe 6 or 7 tables at most occupied but staff not very engaging.

Food very good but service not. One order lost so one of our party didn't get his food until everyone else was very nearly finished theirs. We were offered a free drink but asked for that meal to be taken off the bill and it was. We had to ask for cutlery and sauces

Phone to make booking as staying in hotel told they were full. Went online and booked a table. Waited 30mins from being seated to dinner order being taken. Order place 15 mins later told there would be a delay on food as very busy even though there were empty tables. Pizza was cooked sat on warming plate for 15mins till other me ready. Over all OK but not the experience expected especially for a special occasion.

The decor and lighting of this restaurant is really nice. Took my elderly parents here for Sunday lunch. Would be helpful if you could order small portions as the dinners were too much for parents, food arrived warm but not as hot as we like our food, meat tough. Service very very slow, even though there seemed plenty staff all quite young as well. Desserts over priced. Sorry probably wouldn’t go back !

The food was amazing as always but what I couldn’t understand was why I had to wait 15 minutes to get a drink and ask where my drink was it wasn’t even busy neither I was disappointed in the service and it was something I would of just left but the fact I am getting married here in 2025 I was like I said disappointed but the food once again as always FANTASTIC 😃👌 10/10 food

Bit slow to be greated and showen to our table, ince seated drinks order was taken closely followed by food order. Sunday diners arrived, good portions with extra gravy.
