Joe is an award-winning pianist/singer who is a beloved host of piano bars such as Don’t Tell Mama in Manhattan and venues across NJ. Regan is also a Music Director who has played in the pit for several Off-Broadway shows and opened for Steve Ross at the 75th Anniversary of the Chrysler Building. Free cover, 2 item minimum. I could not have been more impressed. We arrived not realizing it was Jazz Thursday and we were. promptly seated in an area away from the music when we explained we were not fans of jazz. (And if you enjoy jazz, I am sure you would love Thursday nights!) I often feel service is not attentive on in many restaurants, but the staff at the Carriage House are exemplars of hospitality. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The chef was delightful and stopped by to share some interesting tidbits. We can’t wait to go back!

Overall, a lovely experience. I had the steak, which was cooked perfectly. My guest had the pork, which he didn’t care for, more a personal thing than a criticism.

Good food but limited choices—two pasta dishes for example. Rolls weren’t up to snuff.

First time back to the Carriage House in a few years. Place was wonderful. Service was top notch and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!!

Lunch was overpriced for 2 course menu. We have one dessert. 3 chocolate covered Strawberries. Lunch was steak sandwich and halibut, and two California salads. Cost with tip I think was about $175.00. Have been to the Carriage house several times with friends for dinner value amount much better. Disappointing this time.

The staff worked like a team. They have it down to a science to offer a pleasant dining experience and get the diners over to the show on time with some time to spare to take in the whole experience

This wa sa last minute reservation and so glad. Nice price fixe before show had limited selections but all good. Drinls were a bit pricey but to be expected. I would definately return next show!

Everything was great! My only complaint is that it's difficult to get anyone on the phone to make a reservation.

Always a good experience at Carriage House before a Papermill Playhouse show. It’s convenient and the food is good. The staff is always pleasant and very accommodating
