Carolina Brewery is a brewpub located in Pittsboro, North Carolina that specializes in serving craft beers and American pub fare. The CB Pittsboro is a real gem; it is a friendly, welcoming neighborhood establishment. All the wait staff are attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. The patio is really nice and on milder Winter days the heaters work well. The food is exceptional; the salmon dish is my favorite and I seldom stray from it albeit I have been to the CB Pittsboro with a plethora of friends who all loved their food. In addition to the food it goes without saying CB is an award winning brewery. The staff has a good handle on all the drinks and can help you make a selection. If you enjoy beer and are new to what you may want out of CB’s many drink offerings try their 4 (smaller) glass beer plank to compare offerings. All in all hard it is really, really hard to beat a night or lunch out with friends

New seasonal menu today. We tried the lobster quesadilla tacos and they were great! Good service and great food. We love the rotating specials menu because it gives the customer some variety. The heat was off today and it is a cold day but we were fine. We just kept our jackets on. I felt bad for the poor staff. I’m sure it has been or will be fixed soon.

Carolina Brewery Pittsboro is a true delight. They have a variety of different menu options that fit most everyone’s taste. There are vegan and vegetarian options as well as rotating specials. The wait staff are all personable and attentive. CB Pittsboro is a neighborhood gem. My friends who drink beer appreciate the many superb offerings. The wine menu while relatively limited still has something that matches your general preferences. Really hard to go wrong at CB Pittsboro. Great local establishment.

Our server Teagan was great as usual. Friendly and quick service. We love the Oktoberfest menu and the fried chicken Wednesday. Love the pretzel and cheese dip.

Easy to reserve an outdoor table through website using open table. A reservation sign placed on table to ensure availability. Ambience in outside seating area terrific. Waitresses work hard and are efficient. Beer excellent and reasonably priced. Food, while not gourmet is very good and reasonably priced. There are “healthy” food choices. Bonus is live music (at least on Saturdays) that begins at 5:30pm, earlier than most , if not all, other restaurants. However, music is a bit too loud. Overall experience excellent to outstanding. Highly recommended

Went here for lunch because we’ve heard great things about it. I ordered burrito bowl and my fiancé ordered shrimp and grits. She asked for no mushrooms and it came with mushrooms. We let our server know and waited for the correct plate. The corrected plate was rushed. Shrimp batter was soggy cheese was just thrown on and not melted and was very bland. Our server got the manager and asked if we wanted another plate. My fiance asked for the menu to see what else she wanted and it just seemed we were forgotten about. I had to find our server to flag her down to place the order. My fiance ordered the fish tacos which were good, but we were told by the manager that she would discount her food since we had to wait so long. When we received the check the manager took $3.99 off our order. We explained to our server we hate to complain about food and bills since we’ve both have managed restaurants and the server had to sneakily get my fiances food comped. We spent an hour and a half here most of which was waiting on the correct food to come out. I would like to believe our experience was a rare occurrence for carolina brewery and would be willing to try again but we were not pleased with this visit.
