It was Valentines Day, it was busy but somehow they didn’t seem prepared or at least our waitress wasn’t. Food was average, but we were disappointed with the service. Everything was cold because it took forever to come out. Things were missing, disappointing.

Cantina Laredo is one of my favorite restaurants. Food is always excellent and service is outstanding. Lucia is awesome!!

Excellent food but service was way too rushed — we hadn’t finished the appetizers when the main course came out. I have the impression that you were trying to move us out quickly so you could turn the table.

Staff was so friendly: hostesses, manager, server! This makes it more difficult to write that the food was horrible. Ive eaten at this chain since the 80’s. It used to be known for quality of menu offering and food. Tonight’s food was very poor. Ordered chicken fajitas. Waited a longer time than usual for food to arrive. When food arrived, I noticed that chicken strips were large and thick; charred on the outside and undercooked in the middle. Plate with guacamole, sour cream, and pico had water/liquid all through the bottom. Borracho beans had about six beans and broth tasted like dirty water. Rice tasted old and crunchy. I would recommend that management check the food that is coming out of the kitchen. Perhaps there is a new chef, but if so, he or she needs much more preparation. Again, I always appreciate friendly service, but the food was sub-par, at best.
