La Cantina Italiana est une institution du North End historique de Boston. Le restaurant, qui a servi plusieurs générations de familles, les locaux et les touristes depuis son ouverture en 1931, est réputé pour le goût de ses aliments. Certains en auraient même l'eau à la bouche rien qu'à l'idée d'y penser. Voilà pourquoi lorsque le restaurant change la moindre chose de son menu, beaucoup de personnes le lui font savoir. We had an amazing Christmas Day dinner at Cantina Italiana. Our server was the sweetest and very attentive. The food was excellent and tasted very fresh. The kids were excited that they served lemon sorbetto in carved out lemons and the espresso martini was terrific. An outstanding experience overall!

food was very flavorful and waiter was very attentive. only downside was that we were seated at a corner table in the back right outside the kitchen, so it was a little hectic with people walking past and trash was coming in and out from the back. besides that - definitely recommend!

My husband, daughter and I ate here for our Christmas Day dinner. We had reservations and we were seated right away. My daughter had the fettuccine with Creme and that was very satisfying, my husband remarked his dinner was very good, it included pasta, meatballs and beef. I ordered a Caesar Salad for an appetizer which was very dry and for my meal I had muscles which were underwhelming. I’m used to having a rich, garlic, lemon sauce with muscles ( we’re from the coast of Maine) and to be honest this sauce was not at all flavorful. The toast that came with the muscles was burnt so I was unable to eat it. The biggest disappointment was I had mentioned it was my 66th birthday and no one said a thing. Granted it was very very busy and they most probably forgot. I read others reviews which were excellent. I unfortunately did not have that experience.

We have never been to cantina Italiana before. And on Xmas Eve. The service was excellent Omar was our server and was point on. The food was excellent. The esspresso martini delish. Great vibe. The food was a 10!! If you haven’t tried this place you need to go !! So good. 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🎄🎄🎄🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️💙💙🤶🤶🤶🌙🙏🙏🙏🙏

We had a wonderful experience. Christmas Eve is always chaotic in the N.End but we were seated immediately upon arrival despite the 20+ patrons ready to get in. It was a packed house but that never diminished the service, quality of food or ambience. It was loud but it was filled to the rafters. Our server was excellent and delightful. A mini snafu w/our salad & app coming out after our mains but that did not affect our experience. It happens and our server was so apologetic and the food was great. We enjoyed it nonetheless. We had a fabulous experience and look forward to returning and making this our annual Xmas Eve spot with family to hit.
