Pros: 1. Good ambience with the city skyline view. 2. Open kitchen concept Cons: 1. The quantity portions of the main meals are ridiculously small. 10 oz veal steak portion is the as the appetizer that other restaurant serve as steak tartare considering its prices at almost $80 2. The Ontario lamb rack portion is absolutely pathetic again compared to the pricing of $80 or more. 3. The taste of the food is average and I definitely had better rack of lamb and steaks with better prices at other restaurants in Toronto. 4. The server frowns at you if you don't give the highest percentage applicable tip and goes and complain to other members of his staff. I really wonder how this place became a michelin star restaurant and should be demoted. Please carefully consider before booking this place Absolutely poor customer service and food 😔

Our waitress was truly amassing!!! The view is spectacular. The food is fabulous!! They did not have B&B for our after dinner drink, but the bartender made a very close duplicate, making it a perfect evening!! Thankyou!!!

Exceptional service, varied menu, farm to table strategy. Excellent wine list, wait staff knowledgeable and familiar with wine list, thoughtful suggestions.

Service and staff are outstanding. Food is “ok” although the onion soup is probably a big disrespect to a proper French onion soup. Desserts are good and the wine list has good options. It feels that they prioritize plates flashiness rather than taste and flavour.

Well you can’t beat the view! But really can’t beat the service or hold a candle to Steven! He truly is amazing, if you’ve seen the show the Bear, he would be the one training the wait staff to perform at a maximum level! He was kind, FUNNY, paid attention to detail and made us feel so welcome and like we were his only table! That’s hard to do in a restaurant that was turning tables, like they were! Bravo Steven and bravo Canoe on beautiful presentation, taste and stellar staff!!!

Fabulous experience! Service was amazing. Food was delicious and well presented. We didn’t like our first wine choice so they changed it to one we liked. Sat by the window. View was incredible. Jane helped us get a cab as my husband is in a wheelchair. So happy we came here. A memorable birthday dinner for my husband. ♥️👍♥️👍♥️

We had an amazing time at Canoe for my friends birthday! Our server was amazing, we did the tasting menu and the food was delicious. The wine pairings were great as well!
