L'intérieur, initialement créé par des décorateurs réputés comme Yabu Pushelberg et récemment rafraîchi par Anacleto Design est propre, sobre, mais absolument élégant : un écho brillant à la richesse des matières premières du Canada. Ce même éclat est capturé à travers les saveurs et les textures de la cuisine régionale canadienne inspirée du chef John Horne. Le menu propose les poissons canadiens, les viandes et les produits les plus frais et de meilleure qualité qui soient, ainsi qu'une sélection exceptionnelle de millésimes canadiens. Excellent, prompt, but discrete service. Food was flavourful, portion size small. Ambience was delightful. Will go back.

In general, the experience at Canoe was amazing. The service is excellent, starting with Lily—what an amazing girl.

The overall experience was massively overpriced. My starter, a salad, had a dressing that was far too sour. It was supposed to include walnuts, but I only found three in the entire dish. The main course, however, was very good. I had the vegetarian option. As for dessert, I ordered a Black Forest cake but instead received something more like ice cream, which wasn’t particularly good and definitely not what I was expecting. On the bright side, the dessert was taken off the bill. The ambiance was excellent, beside the washroom which reminded me of a underground station. The service was good as well.

Great restaurant to go out enjoy a nice ambience. Menu was very good from a Mains and Dessert perspective. The onion soup was to die for. I would have preferred more salad options. The staff was very courteous and pleasant. Overall a great experience.

Well - if this was a baseball game - a grand slam was hit by Canoe. Pre-dinner drink at bar - fun. Sarah our server was exceptional. professional, fabulous, knowledgeable, and easy going. The tasting menu was fabulous. It was the first night it rolled out and the chef and his team absolutely did an amazing job at creating all the different flavors that each course stimulated our palates with...the wine pairing was wonderful. My husband - who was always skeptical of raw oysters, tartar, and poached eggs - stated "wow each of the courses are all amazing"! Chef Roderick came out to our table and as a true leader as we gave the food and service some of the highest praise was so humble and stating "its's a team effort and we do it as a team" . Love that and we believe - we are so much stronger as a team than each individual part. Canoe tasting menu is at a level that is worthy of bragging about. Congrats to all involved!!! We have been fortunate to enjoy a lot of tasting menus along our life path but Canoe and the entire team has a hall of fame tasting menu and wine pairing. What a great culanary journey and if you have the chance - go for it. :)

The food and cocktails were exceptional, but the service was very disappointing. The hostess wasn't even trying to make us feel welcomed.

Great lunch at Canoe today. The excellent new head chef Rod and his team are already putting some new touches to the menu and expanding the range of always delicious choices with some more delicate and lighter tasty fare. Can't wait for the new tasting menu to be released. The service and ambience amazing as always.
