Having the tasting menu while sitting at the chefs rail was an amazing experience. Our server Steven was a delight and made sure we had a great time. The tasting menu is definitely worth the price for everything you get. You will not leave hungry. The rhubarb “palate cleanser” was the perhaps the most interesting thing I’ve ever eaten. Definitely the star of the show.

Views at this place are great, however food, while OK, was not amazing. Desert was especially disappointing ( white chocolate cheesecake). In addition to that our table was close to waiters station, and there was quite a bit of chit chat there. Overall, it’s a fine place experience and food wise, but definitely not worth the money they charge

It has been a while since I was last at Canoe but this most recent experience did not meet my expectations. While the service was attentive and efficient (although no seasoning (eg pepper) was offered), the food was somewhat disappointing. The wild mushroom soup starter was very good, however the caesar salad lacked flavour. Ditto the aubergine salad. The pan seared trout main was flavourful but underdone. On the whole (and given the price) I won't be heading back any time soon. There are numerous other choices that offer better food and value.

Absolutely exquisite experience; our server Adam is super knowledgeable particularly with wine pairings, and we really enjoyed chatting with him, as well as everyone who brought courses out to us, from the chef de cuisine on. You also can’t beat the view at sunset!
