Capture a magical moment of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s past as you dine in one of its most historic buildings. The four-diamond Cannery Restaurant of today is reminiscent of its former life as a canning factory in the 1800s, where Niagara peaches and tomatoes were canned until 1957. Its agricultural past has been lovingly retained in its décor of rough hewn wooden beams, rich red brick walls and a hearth at the heart of the restaurant. Chef Mark Longster continues to serve up the best of the region in his menus which feature the freshest local produce and fine wines. Charming and casual Cannery Restaurant is the place to find all your favorites, from succulent steaks to catch of the day to a fabulous Sunday brunch. Chef Longster's food is prepared and presented perfectly, for your ultimate dining experience.

                                                                                                      Overall great dining experience. Our waiter Jake was outgoing and very welcoming. Food was very good and made the dietary changes we required.

                                                                                                      It’s been some time since we have been back to the Cannery and it did not disappoint. Our server Patricia was very attentive and excellent! The food was out of this world! We ordered the ribeye with truffle-mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Best steak of my life. I would give it a 20 out of 10 rating. A must try! Hats off to the chef and team!

                                                                                                      It’s a beautiful vintage restaurant with the best service. Everyone is so friendly. We spent three hours chatting away in the nice and quiet environment with a great buffet style brunch. Our server was extremely friendly. She didn’t charge my friend’s little daughter as she ate very little. We all love this place.

                                                                                                      The food was superb. From the whipped butter, wedge salad to the fall off the bones short ribs and colorful risotto. My husband & I have zero complaints. Our palate was completely satisfied

                                                                                                      Went there to celebrate my husband's birthday while visiting Niagara-on-the-lake, we loved it. The food was excellent, so was the service and the overall ambiance. Would definitely go back.

                                                                                                      We appreciate the consistently excellent dining experience and atmosphere at Cannery. While our server made a sincere effort to be friendly, attentive, and intuitive, there seemed to be a slight disconnect during our interaction. This hasn't been our experience in the years we've been coming to Cannery, so it's something we noticed this time.
