A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Northwest Highway) in 1997, he was sharpening his professional – and knife – skills at several well-respected Chicago dining establishments including Ambria, Spiagia, Un Grand Cafe and the Park Hyatt. Joe lives in Park Ridge, a few short miles from the restaurants, so expet to see him in both restaurants assuring a quality experience for his customers. We were seated early for our reservation time! Our food was fantastic but that’s not a surprise because it always is delicious! The service was excellent!

So glad we found this charming spot! Everything was perfect and we enjoyed a wonderful evening. Especially happy with the great jazz Saxaphone and piano. Nice touch! Would like to hear French music or light jazz when live musicians stop. Looking forward to our next visit!

Wonderful service by server, attentive. Was disappointed that I made a brunch reservation for a party of five and confirmed. Being in the Executive level hospitality arena, we promptly arrived on time for our reservation at 10:30 am, our table was not ready, set for 5. We waited. Room for improvement.

Warm bread and mussels are good to the par. I ordered the trout dish which looks good but the fish is tasteless. My husband ordered Bouillabaisse which is so so. Very disappointed.

Cafe Touche' never disappoints. The craft cocktails were fabulous. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu (My favorite) and everyone else got the Filet with Frites - no leftovers! Jennifer, our server, was absolutely lovely. Everything was timed perfectly. A wonderful Father's Day Dinner Experience!

It was Father’s Day when we went. It was busy & very loud. My Cosmo was not flavorful at all but my husband’ s was good. The French Onion Soup was excellent. The Beef Bourguinon was very tasteless with a lot of noodles but not much meat. The Creme Brûlée was excellent. For a French Bistro I was disappointed to have TV screens on. There were about 16 tables all along the bar area.

Celebrated Father’s Day with a great brunch. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed our selections. Great menu! We’ll be back!

Table was great. Thank you Joe for organizing it. Michael, our server was excellent. My wife and I had the fillet's. they were cooked to perfection.

The waiters are great at Cafe Touche and we had a fun birthday party. Just the right place and great food to celebrate a special friend. Highly recommend.

I love Cafe Touché. Have always gone in the past for dinner, but ended up going for brunch. I did not know they had brunch as we were really looking forward to the mussels. The manager was at the front with hostess when we arrived and he asked if we've been here before. I said yes and it's been too long and we were looking forward to ordering the mussels. He said, they don't have that for brunch, but he would check with the kitchen to see if they could make it for us....and they did. Excellent customer service. We were happy to have our mussels in conjunction with the brunch. Cannot wait to go back,
