The food was fresh and top-notch, although the crabmeat atop the redfish was slightly overcooked. I will get the snapper next time. The wagyu was outstanding and melted in your mouth with flavorful tenderness. The keylime pie was superb, but a bit rich. The crust was perfect. The price level usually warrants this a "special occasion" establishment unless you live in Highland/University Park.

Fantastic experience end to end. Ambience, food, service, drinks, desert , wine were all outstanding. Mark is an engaging and charismatic server who helped expertly guide our culinary experience We went there 5 months ago for our anniversary and had the same excellent experience. We went for my wife’s birthday and they knocked it out of the park again. For a local little restaurant, I think they exceed most of their bigger , more well known peers here in Dallas

Cafe Pacific is one of our neighborhood gyms. It may well be our best! You can expect everything about your dining experience to be five star. This they were not able to seat us at our reservation time. Ten minutes later the hostess explained the check was dropped but the guest were lingering. The hostess showed us what table was reserved for us and offered us another table. We decided to wait for the table that was reserved for us. Twenty minutes later than our reservation the hostess returned and said that it appeared the guest were departing and our table would soon be ready. We were seated about half an hour later than our reservation. As soon as we were seated the manager came by and apologized for the delay and offered flash fried calamari with their compliments. Our waiter immediately came to the table, introduced himself, and apologized for the wait. His name was Dan and he was terrific! I asked if Chef could still make me the Three Onion Crusted Seabass. Dan said he had just started a month ago and had not had that question and he would ask Chef. Of course Chef said yes!! This was the entree Cafe Pacific was known for many years and has been off the menu for a couple of years. If you have not tried it, it is delicious! If you have not been to Cafe Pacific and want a really special dining experience give it a try. It has been consistently five star since the beginning forty years ago. Enjoy

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.

Hadn't been to CP for some time having moved out of Dallas several years ago. The food was as I remembered and our CP host (waiter) was engaging. Excellent job by all at Cafe Pacific.
