Cafe Monte was out of escargot. Our reservation was for 6 pm, which is early for a Saturday. I was disappointed I was unable to order escargot.

Truly a gem of a restaurant. I’ve been here for brunch and dinner. Brunch tends to get much more full and busy, but if you’re looking for a quieter setting go for a late lunch early dinner. Everyone is so nice and the food is top notch. I would highly recommend!

Food was really good! Service was great! It looks and smells like a French bistro! It’s just “Very” loud inside. Everyone trying to talk over each other. Will do outdoor seating next time!

Our server was perfect in that she understood we were two friends trying to catch up. Just the right amount of attention. And of course, your food is always consistently delicious. One of my favorite places!

I have for years had excellent food and service at Cafe Monte. It is my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. We always ask for Lisa to be our server, because she is exceptional. But we have never had an ounce of bad service there.
