Went for valentines day dinner, extremely over priced at $45 a person; and we only wanted a few appetizers

The food was very good but the service was terrible There was a fixed menu with a number of choices. Three main courses, four appetizers and soup or salad. Appetizers and meals were delivered to incorrect tables numerous times. Soup and salad was brought to our table after the main course as we informed the server we had not yet received them

Food was very good but the chef was very impatient with his newly hired untrained staff. For most of the night they were in tears. I could say so much more but I am just going to say to the chef that you were the cause of the chaos not your servers.

We Have always enjoyed going to Café La Scala. The food is excellent but you have to be patient with the service when they are busy.

Tasty fresh food, great little wine list, personal friendly service - we had a fantastic early dinner. Hard to believe this was our first time there. It's like Winnipeg's best little secret. Looking forward to next time! Thanks Perry!

Three friends had a wonderful dinner in this very lovely and comfortable restaurant. It is located in an area of the city with convenient, on street parking. The dining room is beautifully decorated and there is another very nice area where larger groups, e.g. birthday party or retirement celebration, could have a get together.

Appetizers (meatballs and dumplings) were amazing. The 2 pasta and shrimp entree’s were also very good, the pasta sauces made from scratch were delicious.
