Been some time since I’ve been to Cafe Cluny and was pleasantly surprised at how consistent the ambience, food and staff were. A delightful experience and the rice bowl was perfect !

Tuna burger can be skipped. Dry with stale bread. Fries always triumph.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in the neighborhood, and I was so happy to find that it is every bit as good as I remembered!! Warm welcome at the door, and honestly one of the best lunches I’ve had in eons: a simple Caesar salad with super-fresh crunchy lettuces, shaved Romano, and just the perfect touch of garlic in the dressing; a seasonal entree of sweet corn ravioli so light and tender it melted in the mouth, and a glass of exceptional Sancerre. Our really sweet and attentive server JulIe recommended the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and it too was amaaaaaazing! I don’t often gush like this about a restaurant meal, but it’s clear to see why Cafe Cluny is still around after decades. I will be back.

Nice service and food. Not a lot of food but it was delicious. Service was terrific. I would definitely go again.

Cafe Cluny is my favorite restaurant in NY. I love the Vegetarian Nicoise Salad and the French fries. It’s almost perfect. The ONLY thing missing is the banana trifle. Please bring it back!!!

Excellent service by careful and attentive waitstaff. The food is wonderful though CC is pushing the limits in terms of fair pricing, even as we all know input prices are high. The noise level is a serious detractor to the dining experience.

What was once a neighborhood favorite for me has become a hot spot for everyone! The service and food are always outstanding and i love the place. But crowds and noise have to be tolerated.
