Le Café Boulud est la brasserie française réinventée du chef Daniel Boulud située à l'Hôtel Four Seasons à Yorkville, Toronto. The evening was very nice and tasty. The new menus is light and interesting. Service was initially slow, Open Table price was not the same as posted at the restaurant (honoured Open Table price) food was good. Quality experience at a hotel, lacks WOW factor of internationally acclaimed restaurants/tasting menu experiences.

Dear Café Boulud Team, I wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful dining experience at your restaurant on Canada Day, July 1, 2024, at 6:30 pm. From start to finish, the evening was truly exceptional, and I am eager to express my gratitude. I began my meal with the delightful Peas Soup, which was a perfect blend of flavours and textures. The freshness of the peas was evident, and it set a high bar for the rest of the evening. The new cocktail, Vanilla Sky, was a fantastic recommendation. The combination of Bulleit Bourbon, Galliano, and Apple Harvest Syrup was both refreshing and sophisticated, making it a standout start to my meal. For my entrée, I chose the Agnolotti, which was simply exquisite. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the filling was rich and flavourful. Each bite was a testament to the culinary expertise of your kitchen. The special dessert of the month, Apricot | Vanilla, was a perfect end to the meal. The Vanilla Charlotte, paired with the Roasted Apricot Compote and Ladyfinger Sponge, was a delightful balance of sweetness and texture. It was a memorable dessert that I thoroughly enjoyed. To conclude my meal, I had a regular coffee with milk, which was the ideal companion to the dessert. The coffee was smooth and well-brewed, providing a satisfying end to the dining experience. I would also like to commend Dennis S, my server for the evening. His attentiveness, professionalism, and knowledge of the menu greatly enhanced my experience. His recommendations were spot on, and he ensured that everything was perfect throughout my meal. Thank you for providing such an exceptional dining experience. It is a good restaurant if you want to feel French vibes in your food. It has a luxury feel to the service touch which is pleasant. I loved their Vienoiserie basket and the Croque Monsieur.

Once again, an incredible meal. A big thank you to the sommelier (Anna?) for the recommendation. The bottle of champagne we ordered was out of stock and her suggestion as a replacement option was fantastic! The service was wonderful. We’ll be back again soon.

Disappointing Pain Perdue - didn’t match the description. They forgot the chantilly cream and maple syrup; the one slice of bread was soaked in sweet berry sauce and berries were clearly not local (we’re in peak season). It was $40. So…. No thank you cafe Boloud.
