In the heart of London’s Soho, Cafe Boheme has been serving French classics for over three decades. Offering an all-day menu centred around French favourites, including confit duck, steak frites and escargots – all dishes are based on traditional recipes.

The brasserie is inspired by the 19th-century poets who used to meet on Old Compton Street and features art-lined walls, a brass bar and mosaic tiled floor.

Head outside and dine al fresco for views across Soho or join us at the bar everyday from 3pm for live jazz.

I usually love Cafe Boheme but last night the team were awful. We had to stand for 20 mins even though we had a booking. No plates for bread. They charged us £5.50 for bottled water even though we ordered tap, and then they argued they hadn’t heard but we’d drank it so we had to pay. They asked how we wanted the steak, and they brought it medium rare and dismissed it. We would have been happy to go along with one of these but all of them meant we left frustrated.

Having eaten at Cafe Boheme for the first time as a guest a few weeks earlier I booked a reunion lunch for friends who used to work together. Great table by the window, lovely food (and excellent value for Soho), good wines and truly exceptional service. Live music from mid-afternoon set it all off perfectly. A fantastic, relaxed afternoon.

One of my favourite London restaurants. Always quality food, simple but delicious. Lovely staff, beautiful space, perfect location. Good cocktails. It never fails.

Disappointed. I've been to a handful of times and it always hits the mark. This time, it just didn't. The food was disappointing. My friend struggled through her steak with a normal knife. In the end we asked for a steak knife and it was provided, why wasn't it just given to start? The camembert was oily. The bread wasn't great. The mixed salad was some leaves. 13.5% service charge is steep. Won't be going back there.

It was a surprise to have such a good restaurant in a busy overly tourist spot. The food was good and and good value for money.

Good, friendly service and food was fresh however we were sat under the aircon unit which was v noisy throughout our breakfast

Conveniently located on old Compton Street across the street from the Prince Edward Theatre. Somewhat noisy bustling restaurant. Service erratic and food average to good The Fix Price menu is good value

All the staff was super attentive and we enjoyed our time here ! It was a special occasion for me and my friend and we left super happy ! Thanks in particular to our waiter Lorenzo
