As usual the quality of the food and the service was exceptional. There is nowhere in Inverness any beyond that can hold a candle to Cafe 1. Squid and risotto starters were amazing, mains were superior quality and the deserts were to die for. The staff really care and deliver excellent service every time. I've never had a bad experience at Cafe 1 and it's the reason I'm always disappointed when I eat elsewhere as no one does it as well as them. Lunchtime and early evening deals make it easily affordable and there is always the option to splash out on their a la carte menu if you want to. It's worth every penny and more.

Visiting from U.S-We were immediately welcomed & sat. Restaurant has great energy & our server, Dean, was outstanding. Our appetizers & main courses were all delicious as well as the wine we chose. Great experience overall.

Met friends and it was our first time here in recommendation from other friends. Really good menu, delicious food and very friendly service. Would certainly come again and highly recommend.

First time here. Very busy mid week evening, place was buzzing, great atmosphere. We ordered bread and oils instead of starters, and mains, however mains didn’t arrive for 55 mins after we first sat down. The bread took around 20 mins, so quite slow service really considering no starters. Ordered desserts which were a bit quicker. Food was delicious, halibut and fillet steak all cooked perfectly. Staff efficient and friendly. Just marked down fur slow service.

Service was excellent, staff were very helpful. My appetizer, chanterelles, was outstanding. The main course, halibut, was a bit dry, some sauce with it, would have been very good. Overall, I was really pleased with my dining experience.
