I will be back -so cozy and such friendly service. So happy I brought my friend from out of town here. We were there for hours.

It has been a while since we were there. We both had the Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe. It was excellent! The black pepper makes it hot, spicy hot, so we ordered it without pepper. They brought the pepper to the table and new wife put on just enough for her. We also shared a salad which was really tasty, spinach and cheese and ended with their Tiramisu. the service was really nice, the server was very attentive. All in all, we had a really wonderful dining experience.

The spuma dessert comes in a tiny flower pot with an interesting mix of textures and flavours. Better than the torta di ricotta.

My wife and I recently entertained a couple in the backyard seating area on a pleasant evening. The cocktails we ordered were nicely mixed. Our appetizers, dinners and desserts were very appealing looking, tasty and satisfying. The other couple was impressed with this Italian restaurant and happy to have discovered a neighborhood gem that my wife and I have frequented many times over the years. Get the restaurant's namesake dish: cacio e pepe. You won't be disappointed!

This was a nice neighborhood gem with covered sidewalk tables where we sat for great people watching. We had their signature Cacio e Pepe and it didn't disappoint. It was made the traditional way in a wheel of cheese in front of you at the your table. We also had the burrata with prosciutto which was excellent. The spinach sphagettie with veal ragu and shaved truffle was really cool and good but didn't wow me for some reason. They also had a 3 course pre-fixe menu which I worked out was a good deal but we didn't do that because we didn't want to get filled up and sleepy before a play. Since we went early before our play, we took advantage of their $8 wine and $5 aperol spritz specials -- both were excellent. Altogether the total bill was reasonable and not expensive by NYC standard.

I came across the ads for Cacio e Pepe online and I thought it sounded interesting. I booked plane tickets to fly to New York City from Maine for the weekend just to have dinner. I was not disappointed! The pasta was perfectly al dente with chunks of peppercorn you could literally crunch into but having your pasta tossed in a melted cheese wheel and served directly onto your plate is literally the stuff of dreams. Out of the kindness of my heart, I told him just to leave the cheese wheel so they didn't have to go through the arduous task of carrying it back. To my dismay, they did not agree. The place was small, maybe 15 tables but the service and the food was nothing short of phenomenal!!! It was worth the trip just to have dinner.

Booked it for my girlfriend’s birthday, she wanted the cheese wheel cheese wheel cheese wheel!!!!! Came just for cheese wheel and everything else was amazing. Would recommend and go again!!
