Le CABANA est un abordable restaurant barbecue brésilien à l'ambiance détendue et animée. Son menu propose du poulet mariné, des brochettes de boeuf et de porc, grillées à la minute, comme sa spécialité le poulet Malagueta épicé ou son célèbre Picanha Burger composé de haricots noirs, de pommes allumettes et de mayonnaise pimentée. Il sert aussi un grand choix de plats de cuisine de la rue, notamment les Pao de Queijo, délicieuses boules de fromage, ainsi que des accompagnements tels que les frites de patates douces, les haricots noirs et les chips Cassava. Pour finir, vous savourerez quelques desserts gourmands dont les Chocolate Raindrop Doughnuts (délicieux beignets frits farcis au Nutella) et les glaces Sundaes coiffées d'un Oreo. La carte des cocktails du Cabana présente les cocktails les plus célèbres du Brésil, comme des Caipirinhas arômatisées et des Batidas, mélange de cachaça et de jus de fruits. L'intérieur affiche le meilleur de São Paolo avec des éléments de décoration créés à partir d'objets entièrement recyclés comme des banquettes en denim, des affiches inspirées des affichages sur la voie publique ainsi que des cerfs-volants. Tous contribuent à la sensation d'authenticité et de fait à la main qui caractérise le CABANA. Le menu propose des alternatives végétalienne, végétarienne et halal.

Booked this restaurant before going to see a theatre production at The Dominion Theatre. Friendly waiter, didn’t get his name. Food was nice, service was quick, price was good. My only criticism is that they placed us next to the till, so we always had staff coming and going at the till during our meal. Even though the restaurant wasn’t full, they seem to cram everyone together in a small space. The table next to us was positioned wrongly, so we had to disturb the person sitting at the next table to let us to go to the bathroom. Felt very wedged in.

We were very disappointed to turn up and find out that our booking for 6pm done online 2 weeks prior was not on record. The place was busy and luckily managed to get a table for 6 after all. We told them we were going to a show at 7.30pm and would need to have our meal quick. Managed to order by 6.20pm and received starters soon after. But no drinks for ages until we enquired at 6.55pm and it turned out the drinks order was misplaced. Received our drinks and meal at 7.05 and had to gulp everything down by 7.20pm. Not a good meal after all. Received 2 cocktails for free as a token which was nice, but the evening meal was spoilt.

This was for 2 family members birthdays which we booked. When the food took an hour to arrive and we asked where it was we were told by the waiter that it wouldn’t be long but they were struggling as everyone in the restaurant arrived at same time and they were busy. No apology was offered. Mine and my partners food was fine but the two steaks were disgraceful. Both ordered medium rare and were medium/medium well at a push. They were completely different sizes in thickness and one was completely inedible as it was all fat/gristle. We asked another member of staff for the steaks to be taken off of the bill which they did and they came round with 5 shots (still no apology) however as the service and attitude was poor we didn’t even stay for dessert which is a shame given it was for birthdays.

I think I've told everyone about this place by now. Great food and hilarious staff. Definitely helps when you can see they are happy to be there. I recommend the massive wings to start and you couldn't go wrong with any main Will be returning next time I'm local!

I order the chimichurri steak with beans and salad as side dishes. The steak was too tough! Beans were great but I think 16 pounds it's a bit expensive for great beans!

Very very impressed. Food was so tasty and the staff were great! Definitely be back for a cheeky spot of lunch or dinner

This place was ok. Service was a little odd as, even though we arrived very early and the restaurant was mostly empty, it seemed like they were trying to cram all guests into one corner of the restaurant. We asked to be moved, as the first table we were given felt very cramped. But then we ended up sitting in the coldest and draftiest part of the restaurant, which felt like a punishment. Our food, although arrived hot, became cold very quickly. So to be honest, it is hard to comment honestly on the food as it was too cold to enjoy the experience. Other than that, the menu offering seemed nice, and there was a good selection for different dietary requirements such as halal, gluten free and vegetarian, which suited us.
