Not sure what happened here but they really missed the mark. The food was over cooked and not flavorful. It was plated nice. The service was strange. We ordered food and received it later than people who sat after us. We waited roughly 50 minutes. A cook was sitting in a booth with a couple, laughing for about 20 minutes. 3 waiters were surrounding them, not serving anyone. I am confused how this was allowed to happen.

The chicken was devine , the focaccia bread amazing, my boyfriend had the crab cakes and 10oz steak cook was on par 10/10

Great experience and service. Buratta toast and shrimp tacos were delicious! Wine bottles are decently priced for a high end place.

I have been waiting to get into this restaurant for over two years. Booked a table for myself, as I was in town. The food was good but far from mind blowing. They didn’t have the baked oysters with bone marrow as they had sold the last portion once I had arrived. I had the octopus/calamari and duck breast. Honest opinion of both is neither dish was even close to spectacular. There was a table of people in the middle of the restaurant who were literally the epitome of ignorant, loud and vile. They truly ruined the entire experience from the first sip of water for me, and I feel that they did for many other people who are in the restaurant this evening. I did bring my concerns to the server at the end of my meal. She said she doesn’t notice much because she’s been in the industry for so long. Beyond disappointing when McEwen is a Canadian icon. I visited many many high end restaurants throughout the Toronto area. I will not visit Bymark again.

Great food, good service. However, we were asked to leave at 8:30pm for a 7:15pm reservation. Not ideal.
