    The Chesterfield Mayfair are excited to announce a pop-up dining opportunity for guests this summer with the exclusive opening of Dartmouth House’s Terrace for guests. With a limited number of tables available on specific dates throughout the summer, guests can dine al fresco in this most secret of locations. Available for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner reservations. Reservations are open up to two weeks in advance on specific dates only. Please keep checking back for availability.                                                                                         Sadly, for us, we felt less than important. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone approached us, and that was after I flagged someone down. We asked “Robert” if we might order a glass of wine. At that point only three tables were taken. The couples at the other two tables were ordering bottles of wine so Robert and another gentleman hovered over them very attentively. Not us, however. We did get served but the lack of attention spoiled the meal for us. This was my 4th stay at this hotel and the service is not what it used to be. Issues at breakfast and in the cocktail lounge too. Disappointing for us.

                                                                                        A very disappointing experience. Cold food served on cold plates. Expected much better considering the prices charged. The wines were all good and the young lady who looked after us was really nice and very apologetic about the embarrassing situation the kitchen had put her in Probably made worse that we were the only paying customers for lunch!!. Wont be returning in a hurry which is a shame as we love to eat out at "British Food Restaurants"

                                                                                        We had a booking but once we got there they told us that breakfast was over at 10am (even if I had a booking for 10.45am). We had to leave and look for another place.

                                                                                        Been before to the bar and restaurant a couple of years ago for a birthday celebration, I think on a Friday evening which was AMAZING. This time on a Monday post lockdown it felt a lot more sombre. We were the only people in both the bar and restaurant. I missed the piano player who I guess plays only at the weekend. Scallops as a starter were lovely, sea bass with chick peas was good as well. My sticky toffee pudding was ok, the early Grey ice cream didn't taste of early Grey and was not fully warm so that was disappointing. All in all ok but for the price on this occasion it wasn't up to prior experience.
