Active and bustling, in the "Trattoria Style", this Woodbury location of Butera's offers quality food at a great value. Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know.

It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. The large open room is tastefully decorated with a traditional and contemporary mix, with rich dark woodwork and stone treatments, granite table tops, a wood and granite bar, fieldstone and hardwood floors, stone fireplace, exposed wine racks and a Tiffany style fixture at the entrance. Fresh flowers complete the handsome decor.

In addition to their extensive menu you can select from the creative specials like Grilled Filet of Halibut with Prince Edward Island Mussels on a citrus rosemary butternut squash risotto.

Asked and got an outside table away from most others as my daughter who was with us is immunocompromised. Dinner took an hour to be served however maybe because it was especially busy? Food was delicious and Henry the waiter was attentive. Although it was our anniversary, we got no mention of it despite being told.

We dined outdoors last night it was very nice! Coconut shrimp and grilled shrimp and mozzarella salad very tasty! Wait staff and owner very attentive Will be back

The owners aim to please and went out of their way to accommodate our last minute additions as well as giving us a quieter table for our dogs

The kitchen didn’t follow directions for our shared app. (Less cheese). My main dish was shrimp and scallops with pasta and some wine sauce. 4 shrimp and I needs a magnifying glass to find a few tiny scallops in the midst of a ton of pasta. Eh.
