Active and bustling, in the "Trattoria Style", this Woodbury location of Butera's offers quality food at a great value. Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know.

It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. The large open room is tastefully decorated with a traditional and contemporary mix, with rich dark woodwork and stone treatments, granite table tops, a wood and granite bar, fieldstone and hardwood floors, stone fireplace, exposed wine racks and a Tiffany style fixture at the entrance. Fresh flowers complete the handsome decor.

In addition to their extensive menu you can select from the creative specials like Grilled Filet of Halibut with Prince Edward Island Mussels on a citrus rosemary butternut squash risotto.

The food and service were exceptional! It was very busy at 8 pm but we stayed until 930 nobody rushed us out and it was quiet!! Otherwise a bit noisy! But we will go back!! So good!!!

Excellent Drinks, Appetizers, Food and Service. The Musician Mark Bateman was terrific as well. Will definitely return soon.

We always have a great meal at Buteras. The food is delicious, nice sized portions and very well priced. The manager Seth is fantastic and the wait staff wins to please. On Friday and Saturday nights in the summer from 6-9pm they have live music outside. Last night the music was great. Buteras is also family owned and operated. I highly recommend Buteras.

Actually I was disappointed. I have eaten here in the past and it was very good. Unfortunately last evening it was not . They were understaffed and it took forever to get our drinks and meal. The food was hot when served but not as good as I remember. In general I won’t be returning.

Food was delicious as always. Although it was very busy it was not loud and noisy. Our waitor was very attentive and we were served without a long wait. This is our go to place for a consistently good meal .
