Active and bustling, in the "Trattoria Style", this Woodbury location of Butera's offers quality food at a great value. Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know.

It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. The large open room is tastefully decorated with a traditional and contemporary mix, with rich dark woodwork and stone treatments, granite table tops, a wood and granite bar, fieldstone and hardwood floors, stone fireplace, exposed wine racks and a Tiffany style fixture at the entrance. Fresh flowers complete the handsome decor.

In addition to their extensive menu you can select from the creative specials like Grilled Filet of Halibut with Prince Edward Island Mussels on a citrus rosemary butternut squash risotto.

Food was delicious as usual. Service was great. Owner stopped by the table twice to see how everything was. She truly care about her customers. Look forward to our next visit.

Was looking for a romantic restaurant for date night but it was a little bright.. tables were close together and not my style restaurant. Not cozy, a little modern looking. Food was very good and owner stopped by table and even brought us some of their famous chicken meatballs to taste as I asked why there was no beef meatballs on the menu. They were delicious! Service was excellent. I had the pistachio crusted salmon in a brown, sweet sauce like Marsala with mushrooms and my husband had chicken parmigiana. Both servings were a nice size. I recommend this restaurant for everything but romance..

Asked and got an outside table away from most others as my daughter who was with us is immunocompromised. Dinner took an hour to be served however maybe because it was especially busy? Food was delicious and Henry the waiter was attentive. Although it was our anniversary, we got no mention of it despite being told.

Owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Service was great; attentive but not over bearing. Food, of course, was outstanding for the price.

We dined outdoors last night it was very nice! Coconut shrimp and grilled shrimp and mozzarella salad very tasty! Wait staff and owner very attentive Will be back
