Le Buddakan de Stephen Starr est un restaurant spectaculaire proposant les saveurs exotiques d'une cuisine asiatique moderne avec créativité et prestance.     I loved every dish. The presentation and flavor are excellent. The service is timely, even when they were full. Be ready as it is a lively experience, the noise might not be your thing.

    It is rare in the restaurant world when a restaurant keeps up its quality food over the course of 2 decades+ but that is exactly what Buddakan has done! A simply delicious meal from start to finish. Fabulous!

    Food quality has been going down over the past few years. Over buttered dishes. Dry fish. Lack of flavor and imagination for sauces. High volume table turning. Disappointed as it was much better in the past.

    Always a wonderful experience at Buddakan. Even on a Wednesday night, the place was packed. The food is still amazing and the service is always impeccable. After all these years it’s still one of my favorite restaurants.

    Always terrific food and environment. Also, last night had a great server and manager who helped me find something I lost. Above and beyond. Highly recommended.

    So glad to have finally made it to this icon, and so so glad the food lived up to my hopes and expectations. Everything was cooked beautifully, texture and flavor were all great. The No. 6 Wontons and the Miso Black Cod were particular standouts. The doughnuts were also delish. Will certainly be back again.

    The floor shook every time someone walked by, which was every 30 seconds. We were placed in the area requested, but the hostess made a decision at the last second to place us at the table she knew was high traffic. You could see in her face as she said the table number to the young lady that showed us our seating. She knew it was a special night, I was surprised that she placed us with the problem spot, it was intentional. We come there often. The floor needs to be fixed. And the hostess shouldn’t take advantage of nice people. Next time I guess I shouldn’t be so nice. People in jeans and sweater pants got the better table. We were dressed properly for a special night. We were surprised to see so many people not dressed to impress. Many looked like they were going to Denny’s. The dining experience has deteriorated in the last few visits.
