Le Buddakan de Stephen Starr est un restaurant spectaculaire proposant les saveurs exotiques d'une cuisine asiatique moderne avec créativité et prestance. Legendary restaurateur Stephen Starr opened the pan-Asian hotspot in 1998, and nearly three decades later it's just as packed as ever.     So glad to have finally made it to this icon, and so so glad the food lived up to my hopes and expectations. Everything was cooked beautifully, texture and flavor were all great. The No. 6 Wontons and the Miso Black Cod were particular standouts. The doughnuts were also delish. Will certainly be back again.

    The floor shook every time someone walked by, which was every 30 seconds. We were placed in the area requested, but the hostess made a decision at the last second to place us at the table she knew was high traffic. You could see in her face as she said the table number to the young lady that showed us our seating. She knew it was a special night, I was surprised that she placed us with the problem spot, it was intentional. We come there often. The floor needs to be fixed. And the hostess shouldn’t take advantage of nice people. Next time I guess I shouldn’t be so nice. People in jeans and sweater pants got the better table. We were dressed properly for a special night. We were surprised to see so many people not dressed to impress. Many looked like they were going to Denny’s. The dining experience has deteriorated in the last few visits.

    Always a most enjoyable dining experience good is consistent - never disappoints and service is impeccable ! One of our favorite places to dine in Philly .

    We were seated and waiting 10 minutes before a server came and we even got water. We had guests there for the first time at Buddkahn and they were underwhelmed as were we. It’s been awhile since we visited and unfortunately we won’t be in a hurry to go back it has lost its luster. The food was good not spectacular but I will say the cocktails and dessert were outstanding

    The cod and the sea bass were outstanding. The warm donuts were to die for. The service left a lot to be desired. Common sense is not common these days. I will go back because in the past this wasn’t the case and the food quality makes it so I need to give this institution another chance.

    it had been some time since we have been here, we moved over 6 hours away. I was very happy to see nothing has changed! Everything from the service, food and drinks were fantastic! So nice to see things stayed perfect after all these years.
