    Please join us for a Saturday afternoon at Buddakan NYC, where Executive Chef Zachary Taylor and Chef de Cuisine Tommy Sao will teach you how to make the restaurant’s signature dim sum using traditional Asian ingredients, techniques, and utensils. Each guest will be served their own dim sum creations, alongside a selection of house specialties, including: Peking Duck Salad, Broken Chili Chicken, Sweet & Crispy Jumbo Shrimp and a variety of rice and Vegetable Stir-Fry; served with an assortment of alcoholic and NA beverages. Guests are invited to participate in this unique interactive experience and feast on delicious, shareable pan-Asian fare at Buddakan stunning downstairs banquet table. *Must be 21 years of age or older to participate.

    Enjoyed dinner here with the General Tso’s dumplings, tea smoked spare ribs, crab fried rice & lo mein with minced pork. Nice ambiance, quite dark actually - thought at least the bathroom should’ve had better lighting. Think that is the atmosphere they are going for, each table with candlelighting and beautiful art adorning the walls. Food & service were great. Can see myself dining here again.

    Food and ambience was absolutely amazing! Carlton was a great server, and Tony was a great manager! Food was just phenomenal. I would absolutely return. Highly recommended! 👍🏼👍🏼

    The food was very disappointing. I liked the rock shrimp but everything else was not good. We had the black pepper steak, the pork pot stickers (they were okay) and a hebmishroom noodles. We sent them back because of the saltiness. The staff was good. The food not so. The ambiance is nice but some of the details were off including ripped vinyl on some of the seats. I can’t recommend and I won’t be back.

    Excellent food and service Beautiful. Many room. We ate upstairs. Quieter and only a few stairs. Too many steps to go down to the main room

    Food was delicious!!! I recommend any dumplings, black pepper beef, and lobster fried rice.

    It has been some time since I have eaten at Buddakan NY. Our server Yuko was fantastic. She was energetic, attentive, gave great suggestions and made the experience for our group memorable. We decided to do one of the group menus, plus some extras for our vegetarian friend. The food and the desserts were delicious and just the right amount for everyone. I have but 2 related dings against an otherwise glowing review - both about lighting: Ding 1 - I'm all for atmosphere, but last evening felt like we could have used some strip lighting on the floor to get around safely. There was a point when the lights were obviously being dimmed and it was totally unnecessary to maintain the ambiance. Ding 2 - This one IS a problem however. The bathrooms do not need to be so moody. I want to see clearly in the mirror or see the floor because there's always some idiot that misses the toilet regardless and quite frankly, I don't want to to be stepping in it. So for them and for the next person, get some more light in there.

    Tasting menu option 3 was amazing. Portions aren't small at all, we didn't even finish all of the food. Really great place.
