Please join us for a Saturday afternoon at Buddakan NYC, where Executive Chef Zachary Taylor and Chef de Cuisine Tommy Sao will teach you how to make the restaurant’s signature dim sum using traditional Asian ingredients, techniques, and utensils. Each guest will be served their own dim sum creations, alongside a selection of house specialties, including: Peking Duck Salad, Broken Chili Chicken, Sweet & Crispy Jumbo Shrimp and a variety of rice and Vegetable Stir-Fry; served with an assortment of alcoholic and NA beverages. Guests are invited to participate in this unique interactive experience and feast on delicious, shareable pan-Asian fare at Buddakan stunning downstairs banquet table. *Must be 21 years of age or older to participate.

Normally this a five-star and go to venue for special occasions and when friends visit. Held an intimate birthday dinner here and stated shellfish allergies. The only seafood ordered was the blackened Cod which I always get with no issues. Was deathly ill all night. Not an ideal end to my birthday.

The food was very good. The service was a bit sketchy. On three separate occasions hey brought us food that was meant for other tables. They kept trying to clear away plates while we were eating from them. The music seemed to get louder as the night progressed.

Waited 45 minutes for our table, after chasing up at ‘check in’ twice. There is nothing pleasant or relaxing about waiting in the lounge - it was chaotic. Our table was eventually in the packed back room which had a low ceiling and music. It was LOUD. The whole place seems loud - great for groups (of which there were many) but don’t recommend for date night or a catch up with friends unless you’re happy to shout across the table. The food and service were definitely good, but for a busy Friday night they seemed to be overbooked rather than understaffed. Not a relaxing evening I’m afraid - book for the appropriate occasion.

Too loud. The staff refused to accommodate a large group but they also didn’t make an attempt. We had to wait a long time to be seated. Food was good; server was good but entitled.

All the best. The ubique point is, is necessary align and define where you will seat to enjoy the restaurant. Incrible place!

They look at us in a strange way as wig we are aliens.. the waiter was explaining to us the menu was if we are never been to Top notch restaurants.. I don’t advise people to go there unless it’s for the lounge.
