Bud & Marilyn's is a retro American restaurant from Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran. The menu features updated American comfort food utilizing fresh and local ingredients. Our bar features local craft beers, handmade American classic cocktails and an affordable wine list. Our focus is simple - good old American cooking, great drinks and warm hospitality.

Bud & Marilyn's is located in the heart of center city at the corner of 13th & Locust Street in the bustling Midtown Village neighborhood.

We currently offer indoor (STANDARD) and outdoor seating for parties up to 4 guests maximum.

Happy Hour is only available at our bar and outdoor seating.

Appetizers were delicious - cheese curds were so tasty & the Nashville hot Chicken buns had such a nice kick of heat sauce ! Meatloaf and salmon were outstanding ! Dessert was delicious

The food was quite simply…outstanding! Our server was great attentive but not overly clingy. The portions and dishes offered for restaurant week did a fine job of representing what Bud & Marilyn’s is about.

My husband and I had a great time. He had a hankering for beef stroganoff . So I googled restaurants that had beef stroganoff on the menu and Bud and Marilyn restaurant came up. it had a nostalgic 1970s grandmothers basement vibe and decor. My husband loves the beef stroganoff. Meatloaf was amazing.

We were seated promptly and greeted by our server, who was attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We had the meatloaf and seared brick chicken which we would highly recommend. Bud & Marilyn’s is our newest find and we are looking forward to dining there again.

Fried chicken was very bad. Hardly any actual chicken and incredibly dry and plain.

We came for the fried cheese curds but stayed for the pre fixe brunch with drink included for $35. The menu has been spruced up for the better and the ambience is still the same, which is to say comfortably quirky.

My friend and I took the high-speed line to see a show at the Academy of Music. We got off at 15th & Locust and walked just a couple of blocks to Bud & Marilyn's. We had a reservaton for brunch and were seated right away. This restaurant has a fun, energetic, colorful vibe with all ages enjoying themselves. We split the brioche french toast (the mascarpone cheese was amazing!) and the summer frittata. Both were delicious. I will definitely return to this gem!
