Bud & Marilyn's is a retro American restaurant from Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran. The menu features updated American comfort food utilizing fresh and local ingredients. Our bar features local craft beers, handmade American classic cocktails and an affordable wine list. Our focus is simple - good old American cooking, great drinks and warm hospitality.

Bud & Marilyn's is located in the heart of center city at the corner of 13th & Locust Street in the bustling Midtown Village neighborhood.

We currently offer indoor seating for parties up to 4 guests maximum.

Happy Hour is only available at our bar and outdoor seating.

The food was excellent, and the portions were just the right size. I had the chicken and waffles without the fried egg. Fortunately, the dish was not drowning in syrup. There was just enough to enhance the flavor.

Had a great time at Bud & Marilyn's. Food was great, prices were reasonable and service was very good. The only complaint is there was a draft anytime someone opened the front door. Maybe we just picked a really cold night, but some kind of wind block would have made the whole experience perfect!

Terrific, friendly service in a super-cool, atmosphere with lighting that sometimes makes me feel like I’m engaging in something slightly clandestine. At other times it feels like I’ve been transported into the party basement of my friend with the coolest parents on the block - in 1972! And the hot buttered buns never disappoint!

Loved this fun, retro dining experience! You feel transported to the sixties surrounded by cool dark bar decor and the kitchen with its Pyrex and cake stands. The meatloaf was outstanding and the pierogies were delicious! The dessert menu was impressive. We chose the banana pie and were richly rewarded! Absolutely scrumptious! Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant!
