Bud & Marilyn's is a retro American restaurant from Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran. The menu features updated American comfort food utilizing fresh and local ingredients. Our bar features local craft beers, handmade American classic cocktails and an affordable wine list. Our focus is simple - good old American cooking, great drinks and warm hospitality.

Bud & Marilyn's is located in the heart of center city at the corner of 13th & Locust Street in the bustling Midtown Village neighborhood.

We currently offer indoor (STANDARD) and outdoor seating for parties up to 4 guests maximum.

Happy Hour is only available at our bar and outdoor seating.

Food was good but we have been twice and it has taken a very long time each time. We saw people around us going through courses as we waited.

It was my first time at Bud & Marilyn's and the people are delightful! We went for Sunday Brunch and my friend and I agreed that the menu items are just all very heavy. Between us, we were looking for breakfast items and the options are all very rich. I liked the service and the vibe so I will go back for their regular lunch or dinner menu. But I'll pass on their Sunday brunch.

The fried chicken is very good, same for the double patty burger. The salads could be a tad richer in quantity.

Website should allow reservations for more than 4! Please start listening to your voicemails! I think I left 6 or more and no one returned my calls! Excellent food and great service!

First class food and service in an atmosphere that is at the same time self-aware (without overdoing the gimmick) and laid-back.

There was a wide variety of choices but not to overwhelming. Everything we had was delicious. I would definitely recommend the steak tartar as an appetizer. The biscuits were some of the best I have had, And the fried chicken lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was excellent.

Business was brisk on a Friday evening. All tables were full and they turned over pretty quickly. We were there for dinner before an event at the Kimmel Center and were in and out with 45 minutes to spare. The menu is rich in shareables; the entree selection, while not very large, has a number of good options. I recommend the seared Verlasso salmon. Wines by the glass (3 white, 3 red) offered some variety. There were several tempting desserts; the chocolate peanut butter cake was very rich and more than enough for 2 people. On the whole, a tasty and convenient place to enjoy cocktails and a meal on a date or before the theater.

Everything was delicious! The fried chicken was tasty and crispy and moist. Perfect! I had the Waldorf salad which was yummy. The peanut butter chocolate cake was decadent!
