Highlights include the original Giddy Up Fries and house-smoked meats like 18-Hour Natural Beef Brisket and BBQ Pork Ribs. Other signatures include Bub’s General Joe’s Fried Chicken and All-American Double Barrel Burgers. Weekends are welcomed with our famous Southern-style brunch and DIY Bloody Mary bar. Weekday lunch service features the “Meat & Three” lunch special and family style options. Upscale Southern specials and comfort foods are also offered for more extravagant affairs.

Both Bub City and Joe’s Live offer event and party options for groups ranging from eight to 1,500 guests. From corporate dinners and bachelorette parties to VIP experiences in one of the private rooms that overlook the Joe’s stage, the space offers a wide variety of entertainment for groups. In addition to in-restaurant event capabilities, Bub City also provides off-site catering and rents out “The Rig,” a mobile barbecue trailer that brings the barbecue experience right to guests’ doors.

We had reservations for 6:30 but still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. This would be somewhat acceptable if the staff were polite and apologetic about it but they weren’t. Music was deafeningly loud — I’m okay with loud music, but please don’t make my ears bleed. I like to be able to hear the person sitting 2 feet in front of me. The mixed drinks we ordered did not contain the ingredients listed on the menu — instead, they added lemonade and pineapple juice and skimped on the alcohol — guys, we ordered New York Sours, not New York Candy. Server was rushed, unfriendly and impatient. Food was decent, particularly the ribs, but nothing to write home about, and definitely not worth the mediocre service and bland sports bar ambiance. Won’t go back again, but given the number of suburbanites, conventioneers, and tourists shoehorned in this place they don’t need our business anyway.

We made our own platter of deliciousness and it was a bbq dream! Paired with old fashions on special made for extra ness ! Loved the experience!!

We had a nice experience at Bub City on our way to O’Hare. Our server was great. Good food and drink selection. Family friendly.

I had the half slab of ribs. They were phenomenal. Also, very good coleslaw and Texas toast. It's really noisy, but the food it good and our server was great!

This place is ran like a well oiled machine, from the servers to the staff. The service was impeccable and this place is doing something right. Food being amazing and flavorful was the cherry on top!

Great band should have started at 8. Food choices poor and overpriced. Burger was cold and precooked also tots were cold. Servers and managers and hostesses on duty were very hard working
