Le Bryant & Cooper Steakhouse a ouvert ses portes en 1986 avec de grandes ambitions : apporter "l'expérience du steakhouse" du plus haut niveau de New York City à Long Island. Non seulement, le restaurant vous servira une sélection unique de steaks âgés de très belle qualité, mais vous accueillera dans une ambiance spéciale de club privé. Une réservation est nécessaire pour les adhérents. Fondé par les trois frères Poll et une expérience de 2ème générations de propriétaires, Gillis, Dean et George ont appris très tôt que le secret d'un grand restaurant était de servir le meilleur. C'est la raison pour laquelle les steaks, les côtelettes et les homards jumbo sont sélectionnés quotidiennement, et seuls les plats les plus frais arrivent à votre table au Bryant & Cooper. Great steakhouse with an old school feel. The wait staff is very attentive and you never have an empty glass or dirty dishes on the table waiting to be cleared. The food is great. Can’t wait to go back.

Overall great place, for the price peter Lugar has better breads and desserts and food overall. I will say the melon prosciutto appetizer was out of this world and the service was great - not rushed. Had a 16 oz filet which was great and juicy. Wish they had a couple healthier choices in sides or sweet potato. Ceaser salad was ok. Shrimp cocktail is delish but huge. Overall a great place

For steak there’s no better than Bryant and Cooper. Excellent service and a delicious meal. My colleagues really enjoyed the meal.

The charge of $74 for the filet mignon that we were given was an insult it was horrible tasting. I can’t remember having anything worse in any of the restaurant. It’s an insult. People should not be patronizing this restaurant for the prices that they charge for the quality for the poor quality of meat that they are giving to the public. It was a horrible experience and we will not go back. Also, they did not celebrate a birthday that we told them about.

Overall good, but pricey. Gorgonzola salad was excellent, as too was crab meat cocktail. Steak was on the smaller side for a rib steak, ordered Cajun style, cook temp was spot on medium rare but could have had a much better sear. Was ok,

Everything you could ever want from a steakhouse! Prime rib on the bone right down to the rice pudding. Service was spectacular. Place was hopping. FANTASTIC

With a 5:30 reservation for 4 people and a dining room only about 1/3 full we were seated a table directly behind a table of 12. We were not only so crowded that between the impossibility of a conversation with each other and being bumped into by the wait staff , we couldn't wait to leave. Dinner was an awful experience and when upon Leaving , I brought our situation to the attention to the maitre de , his response was rude. Bryant and Coppper will not be seeing our hard earned dollars again. It's such a shame because it was always where we Met with our friends.
