Just minutes West of downtown Colorado Springs, Historic Briarhurst Manor is in the tiny valley of Manitou Springs. The stately Victorian Manor home was built in 1872 by the founder of Manitou Springs, Dr. William Bell of London, England. Our restaurant offers casual yet elegant dining in nine intimate rooms, an extensive menu and wine list complete with the option of five course dinners, featuring domestic and game meats, fresh seafood, house made pastas, poultry, specialty salads, vegetarian, and handcrafted desserts. The finely grained pink sandstone Tudor Manor displays the architecture and landscaping of an English country house complete with Fountain Creek passing through the estate. There is outdoor seating with an unrivaled view of Pike's Peak in the warmer months. All year long one can dine while observing deer visiting our lawns and gardens. We are frequent guests at Briarhurst Manor. The meal was one of the best we have had there. The Denver Steak and Scallop & Asparagus Risotto were excellent! The server was attentive and gracious. Highly recommend for a special nice dinner.

Everything about our dinner was outstanding. The lobster bisque was wonderful with chunks of lobster throughout. The country fried chicken and wild game burger were equally good. We were not rushed at all and our waiter Joshua was great. Interesting and entertaining without being intrusive. We eat out often and although not inexpensive the cost was reasonable for what we received. Have paid much more in other restaurants for a lot less. Highly recommend!

We have gone to the Briarhurst many times in past years but moved away several years ago. We were in town for a visit and decided to take our friends out for a nice dinner and decided on the Briarhurst. The food was good but pricey for what we got. Service was mediocre, slow and not as professional as in years past. The manor was as beautiful as we remembered, but the grounds were terrible! The yard needs weeding, mowing and a good manicure; the flowers looked sad and the weeds were growing over the sidewalk. We hate that the Briarhurst is being neglected. We have fond memories of our past visits; our latest visit will be memorable but not in a good way....

We are so sorry to hear this. Please contact us directly at 719 685-1864 #113 so we can figure out who your server was & what the delay was. Also this server seems to need more training as they should have addressed the delay and done something to make up for the wait. There was rain for several evenings this past weekend so the lawn has been newly mowed .

Fabulous lobster bisque, Ceasar salad, scallops with risotto and sea bass. No room for desserts which sounded fabulous also. Need better white wine selection, especially Sauvignon Blanc

Service, atmosphere were superb. My ribeye was a little tough, but other than that, it was a great experience! I will go back!

Food was excellent, best meal yet at Briarhurst Manor. The service was a bit slow, probably due to understaffing and perhaps a larger clientele than expected. Wine list needs to be updated and wine cellar needs to be restocked.

The property needs some serious updating and TLC. Also directions on how to get in. We had to call the restaurant to see if they were actually even open because the property indicated otherwise and to figure out where the entrance was. Was befuddled when the hostess told me that that happens often. The interior definitly needs a good cleaning. The windows were very dirty.
