Lovely food and lovely staff as always! Our hostess changed out table for us to a much nicer spot.

We loved this place. It was loud and buzzing but the noise was absorbed by the enormous stylish art deco room - love the glamour of that era! The staff were busy, efficiently slick and friendly. We had at least 5 different staff waiting on us but they all knew what we had ordered and worked as a team. They were all really smartly dressed too in variations of matching grey, white and black attire. The food was great. We didn’t go for a La carte. We looked around and saw that the Steak Hache looked popular-It did not disappoint. Served in peppercorn sauce with fries and plenty of freshly bread to mop it up with. Delicious! I had a glass of house red which was fine and my husband a beer. We could not resist the french desserts. 1 Tarte Tatin and 1 Tarte Citron later… We were truly satisfied. I washed mine down with a cognac wine which the waiter recommended-Not really a cognac drinker but I will buy a bottle now. It was a great pairing to my apples. The meal cost around £75…. That was including a £15% service charge … When in London. We were given free macaroons with an anniversary message as I had mentioned our celebration when I booked. This was the best pre theatre meal I have had for ages, without spending a fortune. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience, that set us in the happiest frame of mind before seeing Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre.

My friends birthday was thoroughly well served by lunch here. A very good jazz band played and we sat nearby and she enjoyed the hustle and bustle of this Parisian bistro! The food was tasty and plentiful and the service pleasant and agreeable. They also served a small dessert as part of her birthday surprise.

Surprised to be charged a “cover charge” since that was not communicated - only 95p per person so not worth getting upset about, just took the edge off an otherwise fabulous experience.

Very central restaurant with great food and serious WOW factor. It is also good value, given its location. It has a good french ambiance and the service is impeccable.

This is one of my favourite places to eat and we do visit every time in London, my only small gripe is that you don't get vegetables with the steak dish, it was over £26 and was just the steak in the gravy with marrow and fries, it was missing some vegetables to make the meal feel complete. My daughter really enjoyed her meal as did my husband who had the salmon.
