Braised Onion never fails to impress and to exceed my expectations. Food is fresh, well prepared and enjoyable. The only thing I have noticed is that their prices are getting a bit too steep. This will not deter me from going there but it will have to be less frequent. We like to support local and Braised Onion is that.

The place was empty and still slow sooo that kinda a turn off. Waiter did a great job at trying to keep us happy. Filet was burnt on the outside .

Wonderful dinner with family while attending a horse show at WEC. Well worth the drive to enjoy a varied menu with classic delicious entrees. The fried green tomatoes, onion soup and lobster Mac and cheese made great starters along with their homemade bread. Our server was exceptional and very attentive professional. The mains we enjoyed included liver and onions, a sea bass over pear salad and salmon with the most incredible potatoes Great drinks and desserts too!

My husband and I don’t live locally so we travel an hour to the Braised Onion every year for our anniversary….for the past 10 yrs at least. It is just amazing. The food has never been a disappointment. We have never had to send anything back or remind a waiter of this or that. Andrew was our waiter this year and a complete delight and efficient. The only negative is…..they aren’t in my town!!! Prob a good thing tho…as I would never cook at home! They also have a wonderful wine selection and gorgeous bar. It’s just the best time and we look forward to it every year.

This is just a nice place to eat. The food is exceptional as is the service and atmosphere. Have been going here for many years and things have remained consistantly very good. The pricing is a little bit high but, then again, you get what you pay for. Everyone in Ocala knows the Braised Onion and the quality that they offer. If you are from out of town check them out. You will not be disappointed.
