While the food was great like always the service was so disappointing it tarnished the experience completely. We waited 35 minutes for our server to come by our table. My husband had to go to the host stand to ask for a manager. The manager seemed shocked and said they would have someone come over asap. Our server showed up quickly after this but had an attitude which I’m assuming it’s bc he got in trouble? I’ve worked plenty in of restaurants and I am event planner so I figured if the manager truly cared about their patrons that they would come by our table later to check on us but they did not. Then at the end of dinner we waited entirely too long to receive our check, I understand that you don’t want guests to feel rushed to leave by giving them a check too early and bc we each still had a little wine left in our glasses but we had declined on ordering dessert so that’s your signal to bring the check. Again the food was great but the lack of service and hospitality ruined the night and my husband’s birthday. There is an expectation of a high quality experience when dining at a Michael Mina restaurant and dining at a Four Seasons, and last night was anything but high quality. We are completely disappointed and feel like we wasted our money and our time.

We had a company dinner for 12 people and had one of the best dinners we’ve ever had at a restaurant in this category. The service was impeccable and ambiance was elegant modern. All in all, we will be back.

Outstanding experience, outstanding service, and outstanding food. Perfect for a date night, or a nice dinner with friends, or a business dinner. I had the 8oz barrel cut filet and it was seriously one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The ambience is very nice, both inside and in the garden patio. The service was absolutely top notch, 100% what you should expect from a place like this. It’s nice upscale, but not at all pretentious. A very comfortable dinner experience. Bourbon Steak DC lives up to its reputation.

My negative comment is that the lobster Cobb salad, for $56 should have had more than 1 small lobster claw. The salad was mostly just lettuce. I only ordered it because I believed this restaurant, in the Four Seasons would make a memorable dish. My husband and I live across the street and go to your restaurant often and I’ll remember not to order the lobster Cobb salad again. FYI everyone else at the table raved about the delicious burgers that were big and juicy with lots of flavor. It is a shame I do not eat red meat.

The restaurant is very nice and they accommodate us last minute for a surprise dinner for a friend’s birthday. The food is very good. We ordered few appetizers (crabe cakes are the best), aged steak and Wagyu (perfectly seasoned and so good) just to name a few. The sides too are as delicious (Mac and Cheese with truffle, the french fries are the best we ever had). Great restaurant, great service and great ambiance.

We were seated outside on a beautiful night and there were about 20 field mice running around. The managers response was, “Do you want to sit inside?” I didn’t want to because it was too cold inside and I wanted to sit out on a nice night. Several of the servers admitted the field mice were a problem but they can’t do anything about it. The manager was able to take off dessert and two glasses of wine but honestly, I should have had half my meal compensated.
