Chef Michael Chiarello est retourné à ses racines culinaires en créant une cuisine italienne de saison de la ferme à la table reflétant les saveurs audacieuses du patrimoine de Chiarello dans son premier style de signature qui l'a rendu célèbre à Tra Vigne dans les années 90. Un chef étoilé/ hôte de vintner & Food Network, Chiarello célèbre ses racines italiennes et la vallée de Napa avec un menu faisant rappelant sa longue pratique d'utiliser les meilleurs produits locaux et durables. Situé à Yountville, au coeur de la vallée de Napa, Bottega dispose d'une carte de vins comptant les favoris de la vallée et une sélection d'italiens intéressante. Chiarello incarne intégralement une vielle demeure de 1800 avec ses beaux planchers de bois franc, poutres en bois, ses vieux murs en briques et ses fenêtres. La salle à manger accueillante est accentué avec des antiquités récupérées, des tissus chauds et des luminaires à l'ancienne offrant au restaurant un confort du vieux monde.

I couldn’t talk better about this restaurant. I seriously couldn’t. If you’re thinking about coming here do not second chance it I’ve been to many restaurants but honestly, nothing comes close to this. I seriously would come here the truffle fries are outstanding. The service is amazing and well touched and not pushing you to get something. I had pasta carbonara, which was so traditional so amazing. The flavors were decadent. It was amazing and it wasn’t too oily make sure to come here. I have not rated something so high and the Caesar salad was amazing too

Everything about our visit was great. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff was very attentive, and the food was all cooked perfectly. I ordered the bruchettta appetizer and it was enough for two people. My spaghetti with shrimp entree was delicious! My dessert was very unique ... a scoop of gelato with espresso poured over it, which was jus enough to top off the evening. Our waiter was very helpful when we had an issue with the table next to us. There was a man sitting alone when we started with our drinks and appetizers, but after a while his date joined him at the table and the amount of perfume she was wearing was way over the top. I walked over to our waiter and asked if he could discreetly move us to another table and he said he would take care of it. He came to our table and said "I found you a lovely table with a better view." I honestly don't think I would have been able to taste my food if we had stayed at our original table.

The food was amazing. The ambience is top tier. The service was not great. Seemed like we were an inconvenience. I will dream of that pasta for a long time.

We love the food and ambiance at Bottega, but subtracting a star because the bar no longer serves the Spa Water drink, which was a favorite of ours for years. The bartender explained that it was too difficult to make (after years of serving it?) We are concerned that the staff may be starting to cut corners with Michael gone.

The food was amazing. I got the rigatoni dish with rabbit, veal and pork. Absolutely outstanding!

lunch with the girls...omg was wonderful. We enjoy our lunch, wine and visiting for 2 hours. We shared 4 plates...two bottles of wine. We did bring one and bought one...no corkage if you buy one. Price were fine, with tax and tip...$71 each. Sat outside on the covered patio. Chairs were comfortable and loved people watching. Only sad thing, the restaurant is at the bottom of 1870 aka V marketplace. After lunch we were going to walk through the building to shop etc. All the shops are gone...its all closed down. Very very sad. there are some shops on the road but not the same thing. Thank goodness for Bottega. It was perfect lunch
