    Friendliness of staff and awareness of special occasion , and great service from Michael our waiter and whole staff. Not to mention superb food and drink.

    This restaurant is OK but I expected a bit more from a high end restaurant. When they delivered our steaks they mixed up my husband’s and mine. They did look very similar and it wasn’t until we were half way through that we realized it. One was a ribeye and the other a strip. The thing that got me is that when we told our server what had happened he never really apologized but said he’d talk with the staff who delivered the food. He had our check in hand and said oh, did you want coffee or anything? We had to ask about desserts. He knew it was my husband’s birthday so you would think he would have asked and frankly, given the mix up on the steaks he should have offered a complementary dessert but no. I’ve had better experiences at Ruth’s Chris for similar cost.

    Second time here. Ate upstairs. Seems to be busy most days. Unfortunately it is very loud. No sound dampening as it is difficult to hear the person across from me at the table and difficult to hear the waiter. Shrimp appetizer, there are 4 and large but they were hard. I don’t know what that means but I have had large tender shrimp elsewhere. Crab cake was wonderful. Sautéed spinach was well cooked but the portion I had was very garlicky. Maybe we need to mix it up before eating. Steaks were served but the third person did not receive their salad for over 5 minutes. As we waited for that meal our food was getting cold. When served steaks I typically am asked right away if the steak is cooked correctly. This was not done in a timely manner. I wonder if the first floor area is quiet.

    A truly extraordinary experience. This place has a historic element to it with a variety of arrangements for intimate dinning to large group gatherings. The drinks, appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts were all done very well. The staff are by definition professionals. Top 10 restaurant for me among other nationally known restaurants.

    Videl rocked the bar, and is a bonafide cocktail craftsman! Once upstairs, Johnathan took over and we had an outstanding experience starting with a great bottle of Brunello Di Montalcino, decanted. After our Caesar salad and sear tuna starters, our duo of bone in filet mignon and akaushi filet was cooked to perfection and served split for our tasting pleasure. I’ve eaten at least 1000 orders of creamed spinach in my life and must say theirs is the best or at least in the top 10 I’ve ever had. Even though I had one bite the reviews on their Truffle Mac is equally outstanding. We ended the meal with a chocolate ganache bar with whipped cream along with the remainder of our awesome red wine. And just because, we finished with a tasting of McAllen 12 and their Rare Cask to end the night! Knife drop!

    Our go to place for fine dining in San Antonio. Close by the Riverwalk, elegant setting, and a fabulous mix of seafood and steaks. Cherries Jubilee prepared table side always caps off a wonderful dinner.

    I’ve been there twice and both times were phenomenal! The food is next level and the service was outstanding. I always recommend Bohanan’s to anyone that is looking to celebrate special occasions. 10/10

    Dinner was one of the finest I’ve had in a long time. Juan and his assistants provided excellent service. The atmosphere conveyed that of an upscale steak house with beautifully set tables. For entrees, we ordered the Chateaubriand, a 7 oz filet and the grilled fish snapper. All were perfectly cooked. The accompaniments, especially the Bernadine and hollandaise sauces, were delicious. For dessert, we shared the deep dish pecan pie and a creme brûlée. Overall, our dinner was the perfect ending to a fun family reunion.

    Impecable service….delicious and savory food…we celebrated 2 birthdays that evening and we all were so happy with our entire experience. Everyone greeted us as we walked in and EVERYONE was so courteous and professional. We will definitely be back again when we visit San Antonio! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
