Our latest visit to Bob's was one of numerous outstanding experiences over the past few years. The ambiance and food was excellent, as usual. The gem of this restaurant is their bartender/waiter, Justin. He reminds us of the "old school bartenders" of bygone days who took their profession seriously and prided themselves on their knowledge and abilities across the entire realm of cocktail creations. His talent and personality is always the highlight of our visits. My wife and I normally get the salmon, but this visit I tried the shrimp scampi. It was excellent, although the sauce reminded me more of a stroganoff mix than the thinner buttery one normally associated with this dish. Thankfully, I actually preferred this rendition. Our dinner companions had the pork tomahawk, which was also one of their favorites, and it was more than large enough to split between them. Suffice it to say that we are big fans of Bob's and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale dining experience.

The ribeye steak that we had was extremely salty the skillet Potatoes were very un appetizing and could not eat them. The bread was very hard and somewhat tasteless I was very disappointed in our experience our waitress was terrific. This was definitely not worth the money we paid or what we expected

We have visited Bobs every year the last few years for our anniversary. Not that you should expect anything for you anniversary but the first year and every year since, they always went above and beyond to make sure you are treated special. Usually that included a dessert. This year our waitress didn’t acknowledge anything. This is not a cheap experience and to couple that with a soup we hardly touched, to which the waitress didn’t even recognize and acknowledge if there was something wrong, I feel like the customer service lacked. The manager didn’t even take a moment to come over. Again, these don’t need to happen but I feel like for the price and the past great experience, that the customer service aspect of this is trending downwards. There are many other great areas that are way cheaper that offer a way better experience.

Our date night at Bob's was exceptional from our drinks at the bar to dinner! Gordon, our Server, was amazing from greeting us with our names to the final check! He was funny, charismatic, and just added so much to our dining experience! The steaks were the best we've had on the Island and we've dined at Salty and David's. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious!!! Temperature on steaks perfect!! The potato are bigger than your head, and they come with the steaks. But if I had to use one word to explain why our dining experience here was so wonderful, it would be "Gordon". He is probably the best server we ever come across(and we dine out often). His wine knowledge is only matched by his attentiveness and his beaming, warm, funny, comforting personality. He truly made the experience complete! We were smiling and laughing in between bites of the delicious food. Thank you, Bob's and especially Gordon, for an amazing evening!!!
